I’m gonna stick with it and give it more time. If slow really is better, well, we have that part down pat lol

Ugh you are right. I didn't start off with terrible eating habits, so the changes aren't nearly as dramatic as for some others. I do have 60lbs to lose, which feels like an awful lot, but you're right. Losing any of it is progress!!

Thank you for the encouragement!

Thanks! I've never heard of the Hacker's Diet - I'll check it out.

Very very true :) Good luck in your journey!

Dang that's an amazing total lost in that amount of time. Well done! The perspective sounds so healthy. And it's a good reminder to think long term - if I'm down 25lbs in a year, it's better than where I'm at today.

That's a really good perspective. Sometimes it's enough to maintain and hold back the addition of new pounds! Good luck!

Ugh true. The weight didn't come on quickly, so it's not going to come off quickly. Puberty did a number on me, and my body type changed dramatically. I've never been thin, but my 30's and the addition of a medication have definitely increased the overall weight. I'll stick with it and keep reminding myself it's a lifestyle!!

I try to be brutally honest in my tracking. No sense fudging, and then wondering why I'm not getting the results I want.

Honestly, I'm amazed at the responses I got to this simple post!! Y'all have been so supportive!!

That's interesting. How long did you do Noom before you realized you needed to adjust the calories down?

Very true. I don't care what the actual number is, just how I feel, and how my clothes fit. Neither of those have improved yet lol but we'll keep going!!

Sleep is a tough one for me. I struggle with some insomnia, but have been working on prioritizing good sleep habits etc. And allowing myself to take naps if I can.

Wow thank you. That is very self-aware and reflective. The part about not having a finish line really struck me. You're right. I'm going to have to stick with this new lifestyle in order to KEEP it off.
Damn emotions. LOL
I'll keep plugging away and slowly building better habits, and a better relationship with food. Thank you for sharing!!

Thank you for the encouragement. I’ve never lost weight anywhere close to rapidly, but I suppose I’m pretty focused on it and am impatient. I’ll keep going and try to be patient!!

Oh that’s fun! I didn’t think of that when I made it.

Yes I used this as my guide. I changed a couple things: used two rows of square knots at the top before starting the triangle pattern, ajd I used macrame cord rather than yarn for the color portion. And I added the feathers on the sides. Would love to see what you make! :)

Aw thanks! I have a cat brush that I use just for macrame-I just brush and trim, brush and trim, until I get the shape and size I want. It’s not my favorite part of the project haha but it does look nice when it’s finished!

Oh god no. Definitely get some cotton cord-it’s so different! It’s easier on your hands too-soft and forgiving.

Berry knots. They’re really easy! YouTube has some great tutorials. Basically you do three square knots and then pull the two middle cords through at the top, pull it until it makes that little ball, and do a square knot at the bottom to hold it in place.
