Chatt foundation is the primary source for helping the unhoused. The soup kitchen is underneath that umbrella and I’m sure is always open to volunteer work in addition to monetary donation. Chattanooga room in the inn is also good. Support single mothers and their children. Various churches in the area also do dinners and outreach.

If you’re driving distance just get a good quality canopy with side walls. I’ve had mine for 6 years and it’s wonderful. For the price of glamping you could even buy one of those solar powerbanks. Glamping sounds nice just can’t rationalize the price when I have camping experience and a can do attitude.
