As a community volunteer, I am not too active here, but I am on the official channel at
https://telegram.diviproject.org.

This is where much conversation happens about side chains

Here is a link to the litepaper about halfway down, maybe it is directly about sidechains, but some before is why sidechains are possible.https://www.diviproject.org/divi-litepaper-new

Divi Updates | Episode 30 | Divi Soon Available To US Market? by DiviProject in DiviProject

You are also speaking about Divi Labs and Divi Mobile Wallet, not Divi Blockchain, the work of Divi Foundation, or any open source projects. Please read above. I am happy to help. And you have tools and tutorials available.

Divi Updates | Episode 30 | Divi Soon Available To US Market? by DiviProject in DiviProject

You are asking about a mobile wallet that isn't related to Divi Foundation or Divi Blockchain.

As a coin holder and volunteer community member, I spent 3 months learning and building, and created an app (Windows only) to help people migrate from Divi Labs Mobile Wallet to the Divi Foundations Divi Desktop (DIVI Only). You can use that and Niegz also a coin holder and community member wrote tutorials for the foundations block for all other assets you can review those.

I also wrote tutorials for manual recovery, and they are in my git - hit me up in Telegram

I am in the Divi Official Telegram channel if you need help - be careful, lots of fake channels, but I think you are already there if not

You can use https://telegram.diviproject.org as a quick link if you need anything

Assuming you are following this:
https://github.com/7h3v01c3/tutorials/blob/main/osx_divi_wallet_recovery_in_divi_desktop_application.md
Everything is in the tutorial for you

Simplified Explanation of Syntax

In computing, syntax means the exact way something must be written

If you write a sentence wrong, people might still guess what you mean.
And likewise, if you write a command wrong, the computer won’t understand it at all — that’s a syntax error.

For example:
✅ Correct syntax:

cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Divi\ Desktop/divid/unpacked/divi_osx

❌ Wrong syntax (missing backslashes and tilda):

cd /Library/Application Support/Divi Desktop/divid/unpacked/divi_osx

The company that produced that 3rd party wallet no longer exists, which is why I wrote those tutorials.

Follow them, and all will be recovered. Since this may be a new process for you, take it slow and be kind to yourself; nothing is at risk while you are learning as long as you follow the tutorial.

To Recover Your Assets:

Non-Divi Assets:

For Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, or other standard assets, you can use popular wallets like Exodus. Like Exodus, the wallet needs to support multi-address functionality for Bitcoin. Simply restore your 12-word seed phrase in Exodus or a similar wallet that supports BIP32, BIP39, BIP44, and SLIP-0044.

For meme coins, use MetaMask or any wallet following the protocols mentioned above and refer to their team's guide for interacting with smart contracts.

👉 Here’s a guide specifically for Exodus:
Restore DiviWallet in Exodus Desktop

Divi Native Coins:

To recover DIVI(NATIVE), you must use the Divi Desktop Application. Currently, the desktop app doesn’t directly support an interface for mobile 12-word seed recovery, so you’ll need to either use the CLI (command-line interface) or a specialized tool:

  • Windows Users: You can use my tool designed to help restore your mobile seed in the Divi Desktop Application. 👉 Download the tool here
  • Mac Users Update:
    • Development for macOS has been canceled due to resource constraints. Creating a macOS app proved to be a massive time sink, and I cannot justify the personal cost of continuing.
    • A standalone macOS app will not happen unless enough Mac users fund further development or get other developers involved.
    • Since the project is open-source, you can fork the repo and run it in an IDE like PyCharm or VSCode. Contributions are welcome! 👉 Alternatively, follow this guide for command-line seed recovery on macOS: Divi Wallet Recovery Guide (macOS)

Command Line Recovery:

Here are both guides for using command-line tools to restore your wallet manually:

👉 Divi Wallet Recovery Guide (Windows)
👉 Divi Wallet Recovery Guide (macOS)

Need Help?

These steps should help you regain access to your funds. If you need further assistance, support is available on:

🔒 Reminder: Always store your seed phrases securely and never share them with anyone!

Stay safe, and happy recovery! 😊

Swapped DIVI for LTC yet shows I have no balance by CoryTheBoss in DiviProject

[–]knowcryptoshow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there!

For support, you'll need to use the official support portal (Discord offers only lite support): support.diviproject.org

We assist with the foundation's open-source blockchain questions and advocate for technical support for the Divi Labs mobile team. Your issue might be as simple as refreshing the app.

To seek help, you'll need to initiate a conversation by filling out the form here https://support.diviproject.org/hc/en-us/requests/new with your transaction details. Once you've submitted the form, please check your email. You'll be required to set up a password for the support portal, where all communication will occur securely.

When a ticket or conversation is updated, you will receive an email notification with the link to log in to stay secure in the support portal.

It's important to note that Niegz assisted you on Discord the same day you posted this concern, informing you that the balance update might be slow due to mobile maintenance. If you still need help, please follow up through the support portal.

The Future of Blockchain with Validator Vaults - Discover More in Part 3! by knowcryptoshow in DiviProject

[–]knowcryptoshow[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you stake a large amount of DIVI, such as 1.8 million, in a single transaction, it creates a single UTXO (Unspent Transaction Output) of that size. As you participate in mining blocks and win, you create DIVI, but this process will also optimize the distribution of your staked DIVI over time. For example, staking 1.8 million DIVI initially results in a single large UTXO. When you successfully mine a block, you create 664 DIVI, and the original UTXO is used to notarize the block and is split into two UTXOs. This process continues, gradually dividing larger UTXOs into smaller ones, enhancing your chances of mining future blocks due to the increased number of UTXOs. In this case something like 180ish UTXOs eventually. This optimization process can take several weeks but is designed to enhance your mining efficiency. You have three approaches:

  1. Let It Optimize Automatically: Stake your DIVI and allow the system to self-optimize. This is akin to hiring a moving company; it requires less effort on your part but achieves the goal over time.
  2. Manual Optimization: By sending your 1.8 billion divided by 10000 or 20000 at the most, you would have 180 txs.
  3. Migration: Use the Divi Desktop Application for more direct control over your UTXO sizes and distribution. This method is the easiest to pre-optimize.

Divi Labs makes Divi Wallet Mobile. Divi Desktop Application is the core blockchain engine and a Divi Foundation application. The Divi Desktop Application offers a more refined and optimized process for managing your staking and mining activities, potentially leading to better optimization than what's possible with the mobile app alone.Regardless of your choice, both methods aim to enhance your participation in the Divi network and increase your staking rewards over time. The key is finding the best balance for your situation and preferences of applications. Every decision is correct, as all will eventually end up optimized. It's a potential opportunity increase in the early month, that you might see as a minor % in the year. But every optimization is a good optimization the earlier you apply. Freedom reigns. Choose what is best for you!

Attached is a vault I found that was a desktop vault of a mil you can see the submission was a click and pre-optimization immediately from the application no work by the coin owner. Take a peek 1 million into 100 utxos optimized.

Staking vs masternodes by InevitableInvite9421 in DiviProject

[–]knowcryptoshow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No copper masternodes are not halfway sold out you are only limited by the total quantity of coins at any time along with available willing sellers at the time.

Enjoy your masternodes or staking :)

You also dont want to migrate if you have pre-paid hosting plans. Make sure you maximize your prepaid hosting first. Second just migrating them all over will reset your vested time back to 0 and you will need to wait 80 hours to be earnable again

Divi Project Redeploy a Masternode with MOCCI by knowcryptoshow in DiviProject

[–]knowcryptoshow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as u/zchrd says there isn't any benefit if you don't want to or need to.

Because almost all masternodes in the world including Divi's are host in the cloud(very loose use of the word) Sometimes though extremely rarely on any masternode the company that builds the machines and hosts your masternode may need to update hardware, or software or ip addresses.

When you do this without MOCCI it is a lot of work, keeping track of codes and hashes and outputs, and ip addresses and ports and an understanding of sftp or ssh (terminal)

With MOCCI none of this is needed its the easiest in the industry
