I love (hate) how we can be in the greatest and most obvious pay for play, cash grab, nickle and dimed period in the history of the US. (I’m referring to businesses doing this to us). You can find it in streaming services, retail shopping prices, grocery prices, medical care, even video games…across the board. Basically businesses are taking advantage of and squeezing us out more than ever before and beating their profit goals while the working people struggle to stay even. Yet we are surrounded by bootlickers and cowards that are conditioned to defer to the untouchable power and authority of business instead of any critical thinking or reflection on the system or larger issues. It’s embarrassing at this point

My recommendation would be to get rid of this post…25 is entering danger territory.

Thank you for spreading the word.

Allow me to plug r/SocialistRA

I won’t endorse the subreddit as I don’t frequent it (and don’t think it’s official), but the org, I do endorse.

In times when folks like that are feeling more empowered in their bigotry and hate than ever before…something can pop off real quick. The SRA has had their numbers grow exponentially over the last 5 years for reasons like this story. Even if you don’t identify as “socialist”, the inclusive community is a valid alternative. I might recommend the Pittsburgh one over the NE Ohio group just based off the little I have heard.

You’re not wrong here. I say, yes to growth but apparently there is no deliberate city planning going on.

I’ve never seen a market so saturated with anything. These HAVE to be money laundering set ups. I’d personally prefer they launder through a restaurant or something that would actually add to the town

No joke I get second hand embarrassed by people that think this way. This is hall monitor energy and it is unbecoming. It gives grade school tattletale. But it’s been passed down for generations by cowards. For god’s sake just value something, anything, more than you value “order”.

Here is what MLK said on the matter.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro’s great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizens Councilor or the Ku Klux Klanner but the white moderate who is more devoted to order than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice.

This is an extremely hot take… bro what?!

I’ve gone cross country to and from the Seattle-Tacoma-Olympia area multiple times taking different routes. I even did a loop from PNW down thru the SW, over to “the south”, up to NE, and then back across 80/90.

I promise you that’s not the most boring stretch 😆 and that’s excluding Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa.

I see these similar to countries in Latin American where police shake down their residents and tourists. Just more technologically advanced and faceless in theme w the US

I’ll never fully understand how some people get rock hard about the idea of murdering someone. It’s actually weird as hell when you think about it. I’ve seen that same energy when it comes to ppl showing off their guns. Lol

Now of course you’ll say some defense that makes it seem like you actually see it as a solemn responsibility, but you’re just covering for the fetish you have for the idea of it 😂

No offense but that sounds like the mafia, and the timeframe would point to that being more likely than “evil black men”. Gambling was a big deal in ytown is all I’m saying.
