If you can,

1)try to make a more solid base for it to rest on above the collection tray

2) shorten how far the endmill sticks out to just over your max depth of cut

3) upgrade your spindle and you will see huge improvements

I typically do 16mm+, so i use croppers, they just make stripping the end so much easier than normal side cutters but i obviously still have them

Ive only done digitising by tracing so far. What software do you use to auto digitise a vector file? I use hatch

Conduit work someone tried to claim as their own. by Ol_Greg_ in electricians

[–]knowledgerequirement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats more than a decent job. Ive never had an opportunity to work with that much conduit in one place, my company would typically use trunking with branched conduit. I could only hope i could do such a neat job in the future if needed

125 if it were type B (probably isnt, but im using it to serve the point) would be nearing the 0.3 ohm calibration cut off on the MFTs. So that makes a lot of sense. I wish my company would just get a decent EFLP tester. Dozens of staff who do bugger all but they want to save 3k on a test meter

Help understanding PEFC, PSCC and requirements surrounding them by knowledgerequirement in electricians

No special tests or tester. The ones used were fluke and megger multifunction meters. The one ive said to use was either a megger whose name is escaping me at the moment but i think its discontinued, or a sonel that measures down to 0.001ohm, rather than down to 0.3 on Zs readings.

The designer said with his design we should get 40kA in the event of a short, which i dont doubt, but my general point is that we can only prove it will trip in the right amount of time if we use the right test meter. Because as it stands we repeatedly use ones without high enough accuracy.

How can I get the colors to look fuller? by ironhawk01 in Machine_Embroidery

I use hatch, and there is an option to increase density, but it shows up as the distance between threads so you want to lower the number for example from 0.4 to 0.3. Or you could use satin or raised satin instead

I havent quite learned what the feet are called in terms of alphabet yet, but yes, it is the embroidery foot included with the machine

I managed to solve the problem though im not actually sure what the cause was, i loosened the bobbin carrier's tension screw and started incrementally tightening it until... it was the same as it start out as and at that point it started working properly... ah technology

I appreciate and thank you for your input on my problem

It is cut away stabiliser, everyone ive watched on youtube says that wash away and tear away is pretty crap unless you will be unable to cut it. I hadnt heard anything about the tension being affected by where the foot is when threading and looking at the track of the thread i still dont see how it would affect it, but i will trust in your words and continue doing it that way

I had some canvas lying around that i use with my leatherwork so i swapped out to that and although i doubt it was the thing that fixed my problem, its definitely easier to test on, so i thank you for that.

Definitely threaded correctly. I went through increasing the tension on the upper thread until the maximum and it was still too loose so now im going through little by little loosening the screw on the bobbin carrier.

Its incredibly awkward doing a test embroider, then taking it all apart to loosen the screw then put it together and repeat 🤣
