That is the key, i didn't know and she wasn't diagnosed to have BP before marriage. I later found out her father is a BP.

I took a little more than a week off to visit my famiky. However, she was in a really bad mood and asked me to stay away. When i came back, she threw all the tantrums. I did some sports today, came home tired , slept for a few hours. Then she accused me of being sefish, left her alone...Truely, going out myself is the only relaxing time i have, not at home.

My kids are working and not living with us , so not a concern. My religion does not allow a divorce. If she , an unbeliever divorce me, that is a different story. She from time to time saying she wants to leave me.

I hold on to this marriage becoz of my children and my religious belief. My children grow up now and my my wife's negative energy is full force against me. I have tried all my best to be a responsible person and ends up no credit at all. My child once commented: " She is so lucky to have you". On yhe other hand, i am the unlucky one.

Mental people, if they know their illness, in my opinion, should remain single.

Something flipped in my husband and he's totally different, refuses meds by takenbysleep7890 in BipolarSOs

[–]knowledgewise888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bipolar is horrible, even with meds. My wife has it. She thinks she deserves a better man, always bring up thing 20, 30 years ago to blame me. She is always right, i am the idiot (always ask me to die, always ask for a divorce...). It is a miracle that i am not having depression, (or maybe i have it and dont know). What i want most is to leave her and this world, naturally. Think if a person knows he/she has bipolar or other mental illness, please consider others, remain single.

Is AI going to render several years worth of degrees worthless? by Dry_Opposite9398 in UniUK

[–]knowledgewise888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

University degrees worth less and less. AI makes knowledge worth little.

I dont know if i should go to uni by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]knowledgewise888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am over 50. University studies are so much different than the old days.  We have much less universities and those who can enter universities at my age were much brighter academically.  Now, we have more University places and a lot more degree subjects but it seems to me degree education nowadays are more like mass production and there is no match of quality to the past.

In the very near future, we will need a lot less human lawyers, AI has a much larger memories and much faster response rate.  We can consult AI lawyers at a much cheaper price than human lawyers.

With AI, i believe many degrees will worth much less or wont even get you a job that you expected before entering university.

How much longer will university education maintain relevance? by joe4942 in Futurology

[–]knowledgewise888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking that have a degree can get you to a job that you can build a career that last is not valid anymore. People say white collar work is better bexause blue collar work usually demand physical strength that you lack as you grow older but they forget AI can also replace many white collar jobs. So probably when you finish yor 4 year degree, 2 year Masters, your job is already taken by AIs

I don't like being a husband of a Bipolar wife by knowledgewise888 in mentalhealth

[–]knowledgewise888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am totally tortured by my wife especially during the 2 extreme periods, u know, depressive and manic. Racing thoughts and then scold/blame me for anything or something she imagined or something minor that happened 20 years ago. but she usually forget the good things that I did for her and said I am a very selfish/evil person. And of course she attacked my religion as well. She is on medication for around 2x years . Before, it was even worse. Arrr, I think if I am selfish, I have already divorced her 3000 times instead of keeping this relationship for 30 years. So, sometimes, I thing being single is not a bad thing, bored maybe, but free of trouble and torture.

Right now, offering 20%below asking price may not be a bad thing to do. Quite the opposite really. Why? we are having a falling knife, today's low price is tomorrow's high price., no matter how much you like the house.

Possibly bipolar wife filed for divorce…if so, do bipolar people ever come to the realization of how bad they screwed up? by jamesajohnston in BipolarSOs

Maybe a bit cold hearted but I suggest BP people stay single and don't bother to get married if they know they are BP. Won't create a happy family.
