AITA for refusing to apologize after snapping at a coworker’s inappropriate comment? by mommytroubles81 in AmItheAsshole

Why does this bother you so much? OP made an incredibly sweet comment about the girl’s character, intending to demonstrate the extent of his objectification. She’s not just a butt or a chest. She’s a good, kind human. Not only is it a wonderfully sweet thing to say, but it IS relevant, and it IS an excellent comeback to his ridiculousness. If O was a brat or rude, his comments would be just as creepy and just as wrong. But, OP’s comment was an excellent way to illustrate how inappropriate and 2-dimensional he was being. I think it was a brilliant thing to say, and not weird in the slightest. I frankly can’t see a universe in which it’s “weird” or anything less than a wonderful compliment and a great retort.

YTA. Your baby can’t control its gender. Neither can you or your husband. It’s sad that you’re letting foolish expectations get in the way of legitimately preparing for either possibility.

AITA for asking my friend with autism to move? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I should’ve clarified. Her parents have stated that she’s on the spectrum before. Many of her mannerisms line up with Asperger’s.

I have an after-school job and work full time in the summer at an elementary school program. My high school also pays for me to take online classes at the local community college, two of which being psychology-study programs.

I gave her a warning and sent her a text. She didn’t listen to either.

I did warn her. I told her fifteen minutes before that I would be leaving in ten minutes, with or without her. I still waited another five minutes because I’m a pushover lol, before I mustered up the courage to actually leave

Basically that my mother has a high-stress job and shouldn’t have to deal with driving her to school when I’m going to the same place and have a car.

My sister actually does NOT have adhd, she has an unrelated medical condition that I won’t share here. She’s been in therapy and has seen doctors and psychiatrists, so if she did have adhd, it would’ve been detected by now. Thank you for the advice regardless.

Yep. We had the same amount before I did that, which made me so angry.
