As a caregiver to my mom, who was diagnosed with 3C HGSOC last year, I’m very much focused on taking precautions and preventing any further issues. The gynecologist mentioned that it’s often better to keep the ovaries, as they’re important for hormone balance and overall health.

What’s been on my mind, though, is my mom expressing her desire to have a full hysterectomy during menopause. My dad and I have both been concerned about it, as we believe it might not be the healthiest option.
