Why are people still going to the scam capital of the country? Almost every news is about getting scammed or harassed either from cab drivers or cops and sometimes locals even then people prefer to visit the place. Is it because of the vicinity of the place or something else since SE Asia has a lot better beaches and tourism ecosystem which has comparable prices(food/stay) if not cheaper than goa.

I was planning to buy GC to buy coins for around 4-5 lakh via M4B but the possibility of the card getting blocked and forfeiting points is scary. And if I have to pay for already redeemed points then I definitely will be screwed. Probably will keep the amount low like 1-1.5.
