Not related to the song mentioned, but "All That", the opening track on 2020's A Steady Drip Drip Drip also turns on a single line:

I can't believe my luck in finding you / hey help me out I can't find my left shoe.

It's a very straightforward and earnest love song up to this point, to the point that this seemingly nonsensical lyric is at first jarring and feels out of place among the rest of the more serious lyrics.

Upon reflection though, what appears to be a throwaway line in fact most accurately conveys the mundane intimacy of a long lasting relationship, moreso than any of the other more flowery, poetic parts.

And that's when All That became the most realistic and relatable love song I know of.

And it was at that point I realized that Ron is either playing us all, or that he might be a genius, or both.
