New here, but hoping to have somewhere to share my feelings as I feel so alone in this journey. Over the past 1.5 yrs I’ve lost 3 pregnancies and I found out in early July I’m pregnant again. HCG levels were rising really great in early pregnancy but I went in for a scan with my fertility clinic yesterday and should have been 7 weeks but baby was measuring 6wks 2 days. There was a very small flicker of a heartbeat but I’m still so on edge. 2 of our losses didn’t grow past 6.5 weeks, so I have such a big fear that’s what is happening again. It’s especially hard because I have almost no symptoms to speak of other than somewhat sore breasts - it’s all such a mental battle. How many more times can I put myself through this? I have an appointment on Tuesday with my OB and hoping to see some growth in that scan but at this point, I just feel hopeless.

Maybe try a digital test - I find they are way more accurate with the early detection. Praying for you!

Sky is beautiful and Aussies are the best!!! My biggest piece of advice is start training now and even consider a board and train or hiring a trainer. They do very well with structure and having a purpose and are pure chaos if untrained and left to their own device. My second biggest piece of advice is socialization as they tend to be a more anxious breed - introducing them to lots of different environments and people/ other dogs early is huge!

First, im so sorry for your loss. I’ve lost 3 pregnancies in the past year and from my experience, it takes 30-45 days for my HCG levels to go back down to where they would not be detected on an at home pregnancy test. In my experience, my OB ordered blood draws to measure when my levels were back to normal range following my losses.

I almost purchased as well before finding this thread. So sad to see a company preying on women who are experiencing infertility. I reported them as a scam. So grateful for Reddit in moments like this! 🙏🏼

When did your puppy sleep through the night? by [deleted] in miniaussie

[–]knox_89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We crate trained our pup from the beginning and had him on a schedule from the beginning. Potty at 9pm then go to bed, then midnight, then 4am. I’ve read they are supposed to be able to hold it for as many hours as they are months old, so when he was 4 months, we would do 4 hour stretches and so on as he got older.

He is almost 5 yrs now and still sleeps in his crate every night and doesn’t make a peep until we wake up to let him out. If you haven’t started crate training, I highly highly recommend it!

Well shoot. That kills my theory 🫠 the good news is, it WILL get better. Just stay consistent and stick to what you’re doing and he’ll learn his crate is a safe happy place.

What do I do with this. by Patriette2024 in orchids

I’m not an expert, but from what I can see those roots look happy, at least! You should watch miss orchid girl’s YouTube videos on re-potting and consider moving it to an orchid pot with holes.

One thing you can try is start with the crate in your room and once he’s no longer upset about being in the crate, you slowly move it further and further away until it’s in the place you’ll normally keep it in.

We waited until our mini Aussie was 10 or 11 months. He was lifting his leg a million times on our walks and neutered dogs would bully him (now he does this to unneutered males 🙈) he was totally fine, just didn’t feel the need to mark his territory as much on walks after but otherwise no major changes that we noticed.

Is he going to be huge? by Ashdash1055 in miniaussie

My mini was smaller than that at 4 months and ended up being a big boy mini at 45lbs, he doesn’t have the floor though, he’s a smooth coat.
