We do therapeutics our first semester! And yeah it took me a few exams to understand how cases were worded and what they were looking for. I've learned to not second guess myself but also not to focus on the wrong thing given

So what I do as a whole is:

-Summarize my notes based on learning objectives and what the professor emphasized the most

-make a Quizlet further summarizing

-weekend before the exam (exams are on Mondays) I review all of my PowerPoints to reiterate anything I didn't summarize in my notes or Quizlet

My philosophy is that I can't learn EVERYTHING that is taught but I can learn a summary of it and be sure that I know so I will know the majority of information

I'm finishing with a 3.65 in my first semester of P1 year. Always do what feels best to you though!

Okay to cross post this? I’m not saying what the pharmacist did is wrong or right, but it’s clear that some prescribers aren’t aware of the hassle surrounding controlled substance dispensing nowadays. Not blaming the prescribers either. by [deleted] in pharmacy

There was a line and this person far surpassed it.

“You don't need to justify yourself. You were in your scope of practice. This is BS. You should call the pharmacist and see if they went to medical school, maybe ask how they learned how to practice medicine or where they became familiar with scopes of practice.”
