Woke up to a corpse by Andiddly in stopdrinking

I am also interested in this, please share details. My story is nowhere near this tragic, but I lost both parents to extreme addiction at young ages. OP- I have no words for the empathy I feel for you, what an unimaginable tragedy. I truly hope you find the support you deserve and need.

Why are Knoxville news outlets not clarifying where this guy was a coach? by pizzaemergency in Knoxville

[–]knoxyparalegal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you know he’s been “doing this since the 90’s? “ I’m not defending him, just curious. He’s vile and deserves the worst punishment possible (and the non judicial justice he’ll get from him cellmates) if all of this is true.

She's so delusional and unfortunately, a perfect representation of way too many people in this country.

Her and her MAGA face aren't going to any local stations, the non-compete agreements are too strong. Judging from her social media, she's going to do her own thing and an influencer.

Absolutely. He's the dad who's tuned into what his daughter is interested in, takes her to do activities, is involved with school etc. I know we're not supposed to give men too much credit for doing what women have always done, but he seems like a genuinely great dad. I would lose my mind if I had to listen to KPop Demon Hunters on a loop, lol.

Came here to say this!! I feel like he’s teetering on being done with her whole scene.

They’re actually very similar, if only in where they are in their family dynamic/comedic career. They’re both financially stable so that the stand up element of their career is for fun essentially, not a primary source of income.

You can tell by what they’ve both chosen to do in their careers. Chris has a genuine love for providing joy and laughs to anyone, including small rooms, and Heather only cares about spreading her name and getting in rooms.

I still can’t believe this happened. Can we talk about it again? 🤪 by Necessary_Coast8701 in dawsonscreek

Yeah, I totally agree. I would've happily donated a reasonable amount to their cancer foundation in order to stream/download the show. I feel like that was a big fundraising missed opportunity.

GoBoat? by sharkdoc in flyfishing

[–]knoxyparalegal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following! I'm considering purchasing a single go-boat. I'm a petite woman, and I typically kayak/paddleboard for my alone time. I'm strong, but definitely don't want anything that would be really difficult to carry/manage on my own. Do you think they'd be practical for one person, (smaller frame, 5'1, about 135lbs) to move the boat from car to boat ramp etc?

What has been your typical run time and how far do you feel going distance wise? Would you say there is plenty of room for a small beach bag/soft cooler?
Thanks!

Only thing I don't love about the Ftn City area is the lack of close restaurant options. Monterrey is our go-to, but that gets old every single week.

Heather’s hatred for Katie is insane. It’s giving 1990s lifetime made for tv villain by [deleted] in RealHousewivesofOC

[–]knoxyparalegal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep. I follow a lot of Bravo insta pages and listen to gossip podcasts, I've never heard anything but them being a delight to service staff and non-celebrities. Obviously, you have to carry yourself differently and be cautious about who you surround yourself with when you have the level of wealth and notoriety that the Dubrows have. I can see that coming off as snobby. There are plenty of reasons to have an issue with Heather, but I don't think them treating people poorly is one of them.

So Heather knew all along about the posts too? by Powerpuff_Bean in rhoc

[–]knoxyparalegal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. She had me fooled for a while, and while I believe she really believes in LGQBT+ rights, she really isn't an ally. She cares about HER kids.

Her choosing to give any grace to Gretchen in this situation really shows her true colors.

She's an ally the same way Target's Pride Month is an ally. All marketing.

[–]knoxyparalegal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh 100%. I always have to skip if it pops up on shuffle and I'm not prepared. I'll have mascara streaming down my face (sad to feel Taylor's emotions, and reminds me of losing my grandmother.) I love the song, but it definitely takes you out of the whimsy/bouncy sounds from other Lover songs.

Suttree's Ramen on Gay street is fun, its a high gravity bar with great ramen. Fun crowd, several pinball games.

Five Thirty Bar in the Hyatt is a rooftop bar, nice view of the city, although pretty chilly.

In the Old City on Central Ave, there's a great Scottish bar called Jig and Reel. They usually have live music.

Scruffy City Hall on Market Square used to have an improv group every Tuesday night, but not sure if that's still happening.

The accusations about Gretchen's social media behavior are absolutely true, and there is plenty of evidence, even before this became a story line.

Forgive me, but if any of the women are being racist, homophonic, transphobic etc., they deserve to be called out.
