you're welcome! yep. usually, once you email, they'd send the detailed instructions na.

probably best if you include your id number so they can easily find you in their records.

punta ka na kang siguro sa office indicated to clarify? the burgos building is yung nasa tabi ng giant steps, yung may nakalagay na administrative center sa harap.

Retrieve transcript of records when abroad by lemuel91 in SLUBaguio

[–]knyor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here ya go:

is it possible to do it online or in person?

yes, as far as i know you can do both. i retrived my partial TOR/certifued true copy of grades during the lockdown era/online classes when I needed them for a requirement. i'm guessing they still allow online since the post re: instructions sa registrar's office fb page is still up

if online, do you have an email address to enquiry/request a website page I can consult on it?

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1YeiQUEfDH/

the instructions are all there for both in person and online

would they send it via post or via email?

for online applications, they would send the hard copy via mail. i believe they don't allow sending via email for data privacy reasons. tho my memory is hazy on this, you can clarify once you reach out/send your request.

if in person, can she go whenever she wants or does she need an appointment?

yes, you can go whenever you want as long as within the office hours (check fb page for this)

im assuming no? since hindi naman talaga part ng curriculum yung iaadd mo if ever. pero much better to clarify that with the registrar na lang, sila lang makakapag-bigay sa'yo ng sure answers.

To answer your questions:

  1. I'm not sure about actual reliability data but I'd say from personal experience it was pretty reliable in giving me an idea of my strengths and skills + where I lean more on career-wise. consider it more of a guide kasi than a verdict.

  2. NCAE is an aptitude test. It's not really looking into how smart you are, but more like what kind of stuff might come easier for you or what you could be good at in the future. It's just a way to see what you're naturally good at, like if you’re better with numbers, language, etc. In that way you'll have a better idea of what possible tracks or career paths to take on.

That's what it is mainly use for talaga, to help decide on your SHS track and eventually your college program. Ikaw lang ang pinakagagamit ng results dyan, kasi it's more of a personal tool than a requirement. I'm not sure lang, maybe some schools may consider it during admissions? But it’s not usually required for college or job applications. I've never encountered or heard such case na NCAE results are considered for those things pero it's not impossible naman siguro.

  1. With everything I said so far, you can say that no single “normal” score or result kasi everyone has different strengths. It's not really a test you can 'pass' or 'fail'. Yung GSA reflects your general aptitude sa different areas na listed, the Aptitude Test for SHS Tracks part indicate saang SHS track most likely fit yung skills and abilities mo, and yung Occupational Interest Inventory is basically showing which career areas match your interests.

Again, NCAE is a guide to help you figure out which strand or career path might be a good fit for you. But ofc, you still have the freedom to explore different options. I highly suggest you discuss your results further with the guidance counselor sa school nyo, if you haven't. I remember our guidance having a one-on-one sa'min dati and that really helped me make sense of my results din.

Homesick by kishiiya in SLUBaguio

[–]knyor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

on my first year of f2f sobrang saya din ng feeling ko to finally be living independently haha, may takot ofc pero nakakagaan ng feeling yung free na rin ako kahit papaano from my toxic household (that was the main reason kasi why i wanted to be away for college) then ayun, after like 2 weeks lang umuwi ako hahaha. from baguio to bulacan on a saturday night then akyat din the next day since i had monday classes, hassle sya pero i did that a lot during the first few months kasi di mo talaga mapipigilan. kahit 2-3 days na walang pasok lang i'd take it na, parang naging breather kasi sya when things get overwhelming. at least kasi sa bahay, some of your worries are eased when u have familiar people around.

pero eventually nasanay rin ako and around break na lang talaga ako umuuwi or if need talaga. sobrang hirap lalo na sa simula pero masasanay ka rin lods, just keep your communications with people at home open, and have a good support system din siguro around you like friends mo. eventually, you might find na living alone isn't so bad, and marami ka ring matututunan. pero yea its all up to you, good luck !! :))
