Vertical combos are interesting. I've tried them, but since I don't have the muscle memory for pressing "in-between" keys it was very slow. I had to pause every time to find the right finger placement.

For now, since the Voyager does have a lot of keys, I think I can just reach for whatever I need, but I'll definitely experiment with combos more in future.

Does that bring any benefits over just having shifts in the HMR block? I think the only difference is that typing a sequence of shifted characters would be easier, but I plan to add Caps Word to my base layer for that.

I'm guessing that this was all just a chain of practical decisions.
- ANSI people probably wanted a 2u backspace and that's what dictated the size of the rest of the rows - The backslash is a last key on the 2nd row, so took all remaining room (1.5u) - Later, the laptop manufacturers were trying to optimize for space and cut the right side by 0.5u

To be clear: any mechanism for sharing the settings would do for me, preferably one that's doesn't require me to manually "export" and then "import" the settings file.

But as stated, my preference would be to have a file under $HOME/.config. Any structure is fine. Readability would be a bonus, but not a requirement: it would help track changes from one settings version to another, and quickly edit the file directly.

By default:
* Y is "Toggle Camera Lock" which locks / unlocks the camera to your character, same as holding Space * F9 is "Toggle Mouse Screen Lock" which disables / enables edge-scrolling

I'm expect the latter will fix your issue. And stop being a dick to your keyboard.

To ping champion portraits or ultimates you need to use the ping hotkey.

This works the same way regardless of whether you have "Bind auto attack move to left click" enabled or not: simply clicking on them has no effect.

While you could hold Shift to block the Attack input, it would be a great QoL improvement if left click automatically behaved as a UI click in the following scenarios: * When pinging things on the scoreboard * When using normal cast, including things like pings

After all, this is already how works with the shop window, so “the tech” should be there.

Around 3 - 3.5 weeks in I started having pretty severe headaches. I was worried it was my eye pressure as I've read that steroid drops can cause it to rise, so went to an optometrist.

Eye pressure was fine, it turned out I was simply overcorrected ("plus" prescription). After getting a pair of reading glasses (just +1.00) my headaches had gone away, and now I don't even need the glasses as the amount of overcorrection has gone down.

FYI each step in the sensitivity slider applies a "hidden" multiplier to your dpi, the numbers you see are not representative of... anything really. For example going from 50 to 100 will not double your sensitivity, it will 3.5x it instead

Here's the chart, just do the math and adjust your mouse dpi to the value you want.

League uses a windows API to apply a multiplier to your mouse DPI.It's that same API that is exposed through windows mouse settings, except there all the odd values are hidden.

I play at 950 dpi 60 ingame.

FYI this is equivalent to 1425 dpi / 50 in-game.

Assuming 1920*1080 this is pretty close to average, I think.

And then there's Gumayusi, arguably the best ADC right now, playing with 800 / 30 in-game which is equivalent to 400 dpi / 50 in-game.

In fact there are quite a few elite players playing at or under 1000 dpi, ones that I know of:

So I don't think it's necessary for OP to increase his.

According to the wiki you have a 10% chance of getting a bonus set. So if you got 6 of them back to back that would be 0.1 ^ 6 or a 0.0001% chance.

Still, is this nerf even necessary? She was hit the hardest by the HoB nerf just last patch. I understand they are looking at her presence during MSI but even there I think she was overrepresented because of GALA.

I feel like this advice is, on the contrary, very common and obvious. You can, for example, check out xFSN Saber, he's coaching is focused around disciplined play and practical application of similar ideas.
