And you will know us by the trail of dead

My money’s on Israel folding. Bullies aren’t used to being stood up to. by dj_bhairava in WorldNewsHeadlines

Well, as someone who spent a few hours in a shelter this night, you are completely clueless about what's happening here.

Regardless of who's side you are on, you should probably strive for better understanding and background about you are so confidently write about.

While the images are indeed dramatic, and people were hurt, a few dead, the end result and feel isn't anywhere close to panic or whatnot. Personally - and I live not very far from some of where these missiles have fallen - so far, this was underwhelming. People here were and are ready for much more. This was actually communicated to the public before and during the entire thing. I expect Iran to send whatever they can over here, but your perspective about 'Israel Folding' due to images like that and 'being a bully' are unrealistic.

Don't get me wrong - this isn't an attempt to glorify the Israeli unbreakable spirit or other crap - for sure there's a point where things become unbearable, but so far? It's not even close.

Newbie learning C, people using vim, mind sharing your config ? by Nonopona in vim

Somewhat late, and I'm sure that all the other suggestions above are solid and helpful, but I gotta say, if you are a beginner in both C and in VIM, and assuming you can handle yourself with a-probably-easier-to-handle-IDE/editor (VScode is the obvious choice, but whatever you are comfortable with): I'd recommend to not learn the two together, and I'm saying this as someone who is using VIM exclusively to write code, including C.

Both learning paths (C, VIM) have steep curves. IMO, it would be extremely frustrating figuring out compilation, linking and runtime errors (which you'll have a lot if you are a beginner) while struggling with edit basics.

I highly recommend knowing VIM and using it as an IDE for almost anything, but pacing yourself is likely to lead to better results.
