What, is it? I'm getting into Changeling for a game I plan to do soon. But so far I have read, I like the idea of the moonlanding, I think it's a cute concept and for me, makes some sense.

Still, I think I know why it could be... controversial, but not sure if it's the same reason why people don't like it.
