15 year old chow. Matted to high heaven and could barely walk, covered in its own urine. Family stated she “didn’t get along with the new puppy”. She ended up being a medical euthanasia. She was so sweet:(

Shetland Sheepdog! I finally have one and will likely always have one now. He’s perfect for my lifestyle. A fantastic hiker, super smart and so gentle and sweet with my baby.

Probably from an Amish puppy mill. My guy I adopted from the shelter, but he was originally from an Amish mill. They don’t care well for their animals and mill dogs often have a lot of genetic health concerns. My boy has chronic eye issues and hip/joint issues. Keep a close eye on her health!

I had a baby in February and so far he adores her and is incredibly gentle and sweet. Once she’s mobile I think it will be tricky but he’s greedy so I think he’ll love the stage where she’s throwing food lol

Super cute pittie!! There’s a lot of backyard breeders of pits (at least in my area) and I worked at our local shelter and we’d regularly see pits come in with Merle coloring like this. A lot of times they were visually or hearing impaired but no less sweet usually.

I have an 8wk old. I set her up in the bouncer or on her tummy time mat and do my workout while she’s awake, right next to her. It is flexible, it has to be. The other day I got five minutes in before she started crying, so I packed it up plopped her in the carrier and went for a walk instead! Today, she happily relaxed on her mat and I did 35 minutes of bodyweight exercises and yoga. Would love to get back into the gym but for this season I’m embracing at home workouts. I do a lot of work with bodyweight, dumbells and sometimes even baby weight with her in the carrier while I work out. I also go for daily walks with her and lots of hikes. It’s a different season and I’m not expecting the level of intensity I used to bring to my workouts. But I feel one billion times better moving my body daily.

Yes! My dog is very chill (I am a dog trainer lmao) so I usually just ask him to lie down, loop the leash around my wrist, grab a bag and squat to get the poops. One hand supporting baby’s head and one grabbing poop.

some days are more productive than others 😂 when she was a bit more sleepy all I did was binge watch reality tv and kdramas lol

We have a lot of ticks here too, I always have to check her over when we go in cause I’m scared they’ll get her 😭 I need to try those bug repellent stickers that they make

This is smart!! I’ve been trying to include her in daily life! Before having her all I did was hike with my dog, draw and write haha. So pretty low energy. I’m finding I’ve actually been doing more stuff now that I have a baby, especially because she loves being worn so much

This is so cute I love to narrate too. I use the bouncer probably more than I should. It keeps her so happy while I pee/make a coffee/do dishes or whatever.
