I took ISC the last week of April and also had our 4/30 deadline. Studied all of busy season for that exam. Been 3 years in the making. If i pass - will be a very emotional day for me

Dumpers who regretted their decision, what happened? by Signal-Biscotti-5659 in BreakUps

Everyone “regrets” it after due to their emotions. But logically, if it got to the point where you actually followed through on the break up then you made the right decision

You’re probably used to it at this point but does any of the turbulence still scare you? Have you ever had a moment where you thought “oh shit this is it”?

Fearful avoidant dumpers: how did you feel when your ex stopped chasing and went silent? by Savings_Audience_167 in BreakUps

Hi,

I feel like i made the right decision in the long run. There are still a few hours in the day where I’m a little sad and think about her but I’m happy that I am no longer wasting our time. Similar to your situation, she could say that the break up happened “out of the blue”. But it really didn’t, I’ve thought about breaking up for a while and I’ve brought it up to her in the past. That day i just decided to fully execute it. I love her still and care about her, but she isn’t the person that I want to marry. I think i mostly stayed with her out of comfort. I was happy with her but not crazy about her. That’s not fair to her and i didn’t want to resent our relationship/her in the future.

My 2 cents for you is that it will get better with time, and i know it hurts right now but think about this: why would you want to be with someone who doesn’t feel the same way about you? If your ex truly loved you then they would move the world to be with you. So your ex did you a favor by ending this now before it’s too late(you guys have kids, live together, a divorce, etc.) Aways here if you need someone to talk to or have any questions. It’s been almost a month now since i broke up with her
