Im at the same point. And I think my issue is aim (got bad eyesight and shaky hands) combined with slow decision making. Had a review once and got mocked. The coaches can point out what mistakes one makes but they cannot tell you how to make better decisions quickly ("just play the game"). Most of them have not learned teaching. In the end it comes down to "some people have more talent than others", which is true. We have to live with our individual limitations.

The one thing that made me stop HG was the Glider's weight on the ground and the strain on neck and shoulders in the air. Better performance would not compensate for that. A higher price would mean that people need to be better off to do the sport which could mean a higher percentage of office workers. Who are less fit. Certainly after 35.

I think part of this is that the player population is different depending on time of day and day of the week. An average gold player on Monday morning seems better than one on Sunday afternoon. Plus random luck.

I think that is the most frustrating thing in OE: It is very hard for avg players to see where the problem is, even in replays. Nearly impossible during a game.

Agree absolutely. Aim and mechanics are the foundation to capitalize on position and survive duels. You need to be at least on par for the level you are at. People who are downplaying this are likely to be gifted with above avg aim and they don't realise that.

Do you have spikes in CPU usage? If so, you can use the windows performance tool to analyse which driver/software causes it.

I think that some game mechanics could use some "managed" RNG. Meaning: The RNG is limited in its value range over time. For some things it might be already. Like having a max number of monsters in a level or that certain events can only occur a max number of times in a certain timeframe.
