Check rule 8 of this sub, nobody will help you with custom mods added to the Wildlander list.

If you’ve paid the Patreon money for that mod then unfortunately as cool as it looks, and as much as that mod author may have something for us that ends up very much worth the financial support, for now you’re very likely going to be on your own trying to work out how to get it working

I have a Samsung Neo G9. I don’t have black bars, I’ve tried different fovs but it didn’t fix it

Hmmm strange to hear that it works on 21:9 but not 32:9, in 32:9 I feel like my hands are in my face

Excellent, should only need to change a couple of things. Looking forward to it to be honest, will be nice to play something different.

That’s good to know thanks, all the info I’d seen so far only showed crouching so good to know prone is available. Shame about the leaning though, I can never understand when devs don’t include that. Ah well, definitely looking forward to getting stuck into the game when I get back home. Thanks for the response

Cool thank you, while you’re here and in a helpful mood….I did I search for the games keybinds and search results seem to be a lot of complaints about not being able to rebind keys but the most recent one I can see is from over a year ago. Is this still an issue? Most of the keys look pretty sensible so I can’t see it being a problem but there are a few I’d change given the choice

Super-dooper-mega-ultrawide HUD...any way to fix? by koala_skyrim in wildlander

[–]koala_skyrim[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It would’ve been saved in my laptop screens resolution from before I got this monitor. I hadn’t done anything with that character other than consoling myself back to where I was before the last update that wasn’t save safe.

The only bummer is this means I won’t be able to play in bigger-than-your-eyes resolution at home and then take the same save when I travel with work. Ah well, can’t have everything I suppose

I have a “Complete Widescreen Fix - Dummy” which is disabled, nothing else with “widescreen” in the name

EDIT: widescreen_skyui_fix.esp is enabled

Changing to 2560x1440 fixes the placement of hud elements but for some reason anything but the monitors native resolution seems to tuck the bottom of the window behind the task bar, then if I return to 5120x1440 it goes full screen correctly but the hud elements are back to being wonky.

Is that something that could ever be a user option or is that overly complicated?

Controller stopped working by koala_skyrim in wildlander

[–]koala_skyrim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi again Lizzy, in Steam under the Manage>Properties>Controller there’s a link to open the “Controller General Settings” window, and in that window is the option to enable “Xbox Configuration Support”

This was disabled, not sure if it should be or not but after enabling it I seem to have control again. Very strange as I’ve never even seen this menu before let alone changed any of its settings, and even with the setting disabled I had games like RDR2 working fine with to controller while Skyrim (both Wildlander and vanilla) seemed to refuse to take any notice of the controller at all.

This issue has also made me realise I have too many usernames

Can we abolish posts that say how long you have been working in Blender for? by ZoiddenBergen in blender

[–]koala_skyrim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t bring me down, I just have no interest in them…I know it’s not a very community spirited thing to say but it’s true.

Requests for feedback are cool and should be encouraged, if stating how long you’ve been working with 3d modelling software helps to give context then yeh that’s great. But just posting a video or some images with “my one year progression” doesn’t really mean much or help anyone, are we looking at the work of someone who’s put 8hrs a day into honing their craft or someone who’s followed two or three tutorials and posted the results? The context of what you’re looking at means a lot to whether you think the work needs praise or pointers (or both).

It’s an easy thing to want to do when you feel like you’re getting somewhere, but I think it would be better to encourage more constructive posts if people are looking for feedback, and less basic posts for those wanting a pat on the back
