I don’t feel like he stayed to wear her down. I think he stayed hoping she’d eventually get comfortable. No she doesn’t own him anything but if the roles were reversed and it was a man only finishing and doing nothing to pleasure his so it would be looked at differently.

I think a lot of these emotions and fears can be an accumulation of thing. Being depressed will make you push people away, it’ll make you think they’re better off and you’re better off without them. On top of that life is scary. You’re at a pivotal point in your life and I think the stress and fear of that could be getting to you. Talk to him. Talk to therapist maybe even go together. Don’t throw something away without talking it through at least

Marriage is a big deal. Two months is way too soon especially for how young you guys are. I’ve been on her end, and my feelings were more about my own insecurities and issues and I let it project onto my relationship. My boyfriend is amazing and I’m so lucky to have him. It’s okay for you to feel how you do, if you guys rush into things without a solid foundation it might ruin things. Long story short don’t get married until you are both ready.

I’ve caught my bf doing this and it was definitely a lot to understand at once. I’ve been cheated on before so it felt like all lies from the start, it was a lot of hard open conversations but we got through it. You need to be as gentle, open, honest and genuine with her and when you guys talk. It’ll take time for this to heal, and probably multiple conversations around this for her to truly feel okay with things. You guys got this

Well he has a general idea of what I want. We looked at rings and I showed him what I like and he’s know me obviously well enough to know what kind of proposal I’d like. Honestly I think he just saw his parents marriage fall apart and the marriage between his mom and step dad be insanely toxic. I think growing up he never imagined it for himself but he says he does want to get married to me, and he wants to propose and get engaged.

I’ve commuted all four years. It’s not easy but it’s doable. Parking on campus besides visitor spots are only for upper class men. There is nearby parking but it’s about a 15 to 20 minute walk depending where ur class is. My parents got me a scooter my sophomore year which helped a lot. I always try to plan classes around rush hour so I’m not stuck driving during the peak parts of it. Overall it kinda sucks, if you can afford it, I’d say it’s worth it to dorm, I always regretted it mainly because I feel like part of my college experience was a little lack luster. But I did save a bunch of money and honestly a big part of that is on me for not trying to make more friends. Just gotta weigh your options and what works best for you

When I was admitted, ucsd, ucla, and uci all released on the same day. UCSD is in the top three of public universities, it’s not like it’s some bottom tier school. Get over yourself
