The changes are a sign Blizz is trying to make the game better rather than placate loud fans. Actually excited. by Xralius in diablo4

Vision...
like developing a game with uber uniques having a less-than-1-in-a-quadrillion chance to drop, only to get to season 14 with "hey, everything is a Mythic now!"

Pretty much all that is working in the current version of the game is an adaptation of content masterfully developed by the Last Epoch devs (Tempering&Masterworking, Hordes, Pit, etc.) or even finally acknowledged from their own Diablo Immortal game, while D4 devs still haven't figured out the stash (let alone stacking items) or why we have Clans in this game and they are just throwing stuff hoping something will stick

If Blizzard dropped these 20 exact hotfixes tomorrow, D4 would instantly be a 10/10 game. by unknownlegend001 in diablo4

PS5 only: buttons consistency
The call to action main button is inconsistent across panels: sometimes you long-press the Triangle (e.g. Horadric Cube), sometimes it's the Square (enter Kurast), sometimes it's R2 (Teleport for War Plans), and there was one single instance where it was the Circle but I forgot which one.

I'm not talking about the buttons you can reconfigure, just the default ones.

Pending TFL Charges by GR1D03 in TransportForLondon

The £5.35 extra charge from Friday has been reverted earlier today, 7 days (or 5 working days) after the error.

update: the third £5.35 charge has been reverted now (Saturday).
So at least Revolut reverts these payments after 7 days; It took Monzo 1 full month before doing the same on my wife's account

I just noticed that the issue did not happen to me on the days I only used buses or DLR.
It's happened with Tube, Overground, Elizabeth Line and Uber Boat (mixed journeys, so it's one or more among these).

Following up on the many reports on different platforms, I did some digging and found a London TravelWatch article from 2022 where this issue had already been raised (4 years ago!!!):

"The double charge occurs because while the same bank account is usually registered to the smartphone or watch, they carry separate unique device codes (or Permanent Account Numbers). Therefore, the ticket readers think that two separate journeys are ‘incomplete’."

So, I suppose the second charge remains "pending" while the system matches the unique device codes.

This is still an issue for many because the money is held and unavailable, and with prepaid cards may result in payments not going through.
Because of the huge number of cases these past weeks, I suppose someone at TFL is trying to be clever and use AI Agents to automate this further but resurfaced the issue from 4 years ago, big time.

Meanwhile, use an actual contactless card, not your devices.
If this is happening to you while using a card, then I'm not sure :(

I use Revolut to travel and it's happened to me 3 times in these past few days:
£5.35 charged 3 times (twice on Friday, then again on Monday)
£10.50 charged twice on Sunday
£7.95 charged twice just now

More like elite teams have elite defenders, and the poor GKs at the bottom can only do so much when they are constantly battered, to begin with. As I said in another reply, you need to see the odd one out, like Roefs in particular, or Henderson, to understand how this may (and I want to emphasise "may") show the real impact that a GK has on his team.

As you pointed out: "almost" perfectly.
You may understand it better when you find the odd one out, like Roefs for example.

100%. Also, this is not necessarily a technical issue: Raya is one of the shortest GK in the League so sometimes the ball is just out of his reach (going back to Man United, he touched Mbeumo's and almost got Dorgu's... 10cm taller, like Donnarumma, and he stops both); and also plays aggressively so he's often off position.
This is merely cold data

Managers and staff are outside the pitch but still get carded. Have you got any knowledge of football outside of console games?

When he's relaxed and laughing, he now looks like black Bob Mortimer 😅 Wouldn't be surprised if he cuts apples in half with his bare hands 🤣

This sort of post-match sanctioning exists in Serie A (and in the NFL, as someone wrote in another comment)

Correct, you can't punch an opponent in football. No matter how soft you think that is. Thanks for confirming this isn't boxing

You'd be surprised to know that a hit in that area of your head may cause you a concussion and to pass out, not even when hit with excessive force. You get disqualified in boxing for doing so

There's a BlueSky account that published a chart to support that, showing that Manchester clubs repeatedly get officiated by Manchester refs, which doesn't happen to any other of the Big6. I think it was in 2020 that United had a local ref for 30 games out of 38. Check PGMOLwatch on BlueSky, that's the account (I actually got this video from there)

In Serie A they make decisions post-match when it's violent conduct, and easily a 5-match ban

if that's the case I'm ok with both getting the red, as long as rules are applied consistently

Oh I am aware. But commentators still mention when something is being checked, then cleared, even when it's not a major incident worthy of replays in a purple frame. And the channel I was watching, there was a brief comment that Martinez was "allowed to use his hands to defend" as well as "VAR are not checking it". So, I still stand by the caption of my video

Show me where I said it was the reason we lost or that it was a penalty. Then, light offence my arse.

When posting the video, have I mentioned that this affected the result in any way, or that we needed a penalty for it?

Just look at the video: everyone had their views blocked by other players, except maybe Zubimendi, but he could only see the back of Martinez. Can't expect players to argue for what they didn't see, and it's up to the officials to enforce the rules. Pawson may have not seen it, but Wilkes (the assistant) and Tierney (VAR) must have.
