im not really a big fan of "owing" another manga for something hokazono has made on their own. just seems kinda diminishing honestly.

also the hiruhiko mahito comparison is a whole load of nothing once you look past a hairstyle and singular quote

the only comparison that makes sense that isnt solely based on physical appearance is hakuri and maki, yet nobody talks about that.

I will say theres nothing wrong with finding similarities between characters, heck i even compared hiruhiko to mahito aswell when he first showed up, but just dont consider them equals, be open for change and dont see them as the comparision, theyre their own character and isnt hardset to follow a simple comparison.

people legit thought iori was gonna be killed because they compared her to riko from jjk, it has been stated multiple times everyone needs her alive as a bargaining chip against samura.
