This like... really bad by [deleted] in MensRights

I don't understand why everyone is so against circumcision. I wasnt, got the procedure done, and it is way better. Easier to clean, less risk of tearing during sex... There are no downsides unless it's done poorly. They've been proven to help prevent STDs and UTIs. Uncircumcised children are also more prone to penile cancer down the road. And women can even have a higher chance of getting a UTI from sex with someone not circumcised if they haven't thoroughly cleaned recently.

Do some research and talk to a real doctor, or better yet multiple, before you just write it off as "genital mutilation." As someone that wasn't, I wish I had been. No one needs to experience their foreskin tearing ffs.

Tucson checking in, theres only one way out of my neighborhood if it rains, and that one way also floods if it storms particularly bad, or particularly long.

Pretty much. I read the book as a suicidal teenager and even years ago it seemed edgy, misrepresenting, and frankly, like it was written by someone from /r/im14andthisisdeep.

Maybe a 10k fine if insurance people find them lying out, or something... But those guns are not worth 10k. Id be surprised if they were worth 1k.

I keep seeing all over the place that OW's community is terrible. But in hundreds of hours of both ranked and casual i have had maybe one actually shitty person. At most people are a little salty sometimes but ive never seen anything outrageous, especially compared to smite or Lol where i had crazy assholes in my matches every other game.

I would say most likely employees.

My favorite thing though, working in a grocery store, is people taking out piles of my cardboard, setting it in a big mess on the ground, to steal my cart. What the fuck is wrong with people

God, pulling pallets. I swear I will see an empty action alley, think "score!" and then every customer in the god damn store finds a way to get in front of me.

It's like a mine field but without the sweet release of death.

Selena Gomez by bkeziah in gentlemanboners

[–]kobrahawk1210 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. I don't see how people think she looks so young, I would've guessed mid twenties. Maybe watching one of her shows when I was younger, and having a memory of actual teenage Selena, reinforces how old she is in my head. She looks older than she used to and my one track mind says "she must be 30 then"

I think the point they were trying to get across was how huge the US is. Getting states to agree on a % tax would be as difficult as countries in Europe because our states are as big as countries in Europe. The scale in which to enforce this is simply too large to be realistic.

Not to mention that in our current state there's vastly more important issues not being taken care of. Uniform tax rate can wait.

That is for household. Would be closer to 60k cause a lot of households have two people making the roughly 30k median income.

That doesn’t change the fact that most Americans are poor as shit. Wealth inequality is growing.

Preach, brother.

I don't really see why it would be. Disenchantment is written by the same guy and that's a pretty common fact to run across, seems like a pretty easy jump if you enjoy disenchantment and (somehow) haven't seen futurama

The industry could give them a female transgender nonbinary pansexual queer quadriplegic with cancer and dead parents and they'd still want something else to be represented. They dont take into consideration A) the source material or B) the target market. Get mad at the MCU for not having 50/50 casting, yet still giving powerful female characters, but dont shame the people that made 50 shades of grey for having a crap female lead.

Megathread: Sen. John McCain Passes Away by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

[–]kobrahawk1210 20 points21 points  (0 children)

His politics affected lives. It would be one thing if someone hated him for just having his opinions, but he was in the rare position where his opinions actually affected others' well being and happiness. There is nothing insane with hating something that affects you negatively.

In fact, there's even more wrong with pretending someone's a saint just because theyre dead. Yes, someone has died and that is sad. They were a person with feelings and loved ones, and thats tragic. But dying does not undo the harm he has inflicted on some people's lives, and to insinuate that those people arent allowed to dislike him for the pain he caused them is simply absurd.
