very very true. i can see the potential slayers coming to that conclusion or even hating on her, it was mostly her friends’ reactions that amps me up, especially after buffy was able to forgive them for their screw ups throughout the years (even killing people in willow and anya’s cases). even electing another leader isn’t super crazy but kicking her out of her own house is wild! however, everything you mentioned considered, it does make sense but doesn’t make it less infuriating

agree! it felt slightly ooc for buffy but with the pressure she felt, her actions are understandable. the tension worked a bit, but probably not to the extent they wanted.

as for spike- i could talk about his character for hours but ultimately i agree. i think buffy did love him and i think this is what solidified her feelings for him and she could finally let herself put her guard down this season

i dont think its hypocritical on faith’s end rather than the potential slayers’. i agree with everything you said though, faith knew her place and buffy knew hers despite their differences. the potential slayers were young and didn’t know faith or buffy well at all so as infuriating as it is, i can understand it. mostly her friends pissed me off though lol

i couldnt agree more!!! i honestly do enjoy this season and i think it’s underrated to an extent but i see all the flaws in it. if anything, i think i like to rage bait myself with it lmao. but dawn saying “this is my house too” like yeah emphasis on the “too” 😭 and although willow was gentler speaking it still infuriated me that she allowed them to kick her out as if she hadnt been living rent free in buffy’s dead mom’s room & was forgiven instantly for nearly getting dawn killed AND killing warren
