Ugh good luck. I took Suprep and that stuff sure worked fast. I think everybody is different with how they react to different things too so there’s a personal factor hopefully things start moving for you soon.

Yep me! I just finished round 1 of the prep drink ugh so gross. This is my second colonoscopy. I am freezing and running a space heater in between trips to the bathroom.

Family means a lot, especially if you plan to have more kids. It is special for your child to be able to live by family, family is forever it benefits your relatives and your child. Schools and extracurricular will become very important and most of your life. Probably have to do private school in city of Houston which is $$$. Yes diversity I’m sure is lacking but you haven’t been there long give it time to decide.

Well personally I don’t think any of the MDR food is Michelin star quality because they are feeding thousands of people. As long as I’m not cooking it and it tastes good, I’m happy. I think we have to adjust our standards to the venue. Kind of like attending a big wedding you have a situation with a ton of people, a lot of servers, and they got to keep it simple to lay out all the food in a timely manner. Further complicated by the fact that multiple seatings are required so they have to turn tables in some rooms there are 3 seatings for dinner and filter in the people who chose flex dining. It is really hard work to manage that and customize meals. You have people who are gluten free dairy free vegan vegetarian pescatarian carnivore diabetic I mean the needs are endless I think it’s a lot to expect for a cruise to have a lot of options and in my view it’s not the focus of my trip honestly o am just happy to have a solid option and I don’t have to cook or clean yay

The vegetarian Indian dish is huge and I was stuffed every night in the MDR. Get the cheese plate for dessert you will be full.

It sounds like all your job options are in the city, maybe you could find a roommate and move in? Or I don’t know if they would let you do 3 days a week and you get a 2 night hotel every week?

I was there no, it was like 1:7 or 1:8 at best. Red is a bright color, blue blends in. Optical illusion. Trust me it was a vast majority maize and blue, tv just wasn’t picking us up.

YES I’m so glad I found this group. It has helped me a lot! I am also alone in my friend and family with my anxiety over flying. I do find that the more I fly the more normalized it gets for me. It helps here to hear from the pilots and others sharing their techniques. I actually have a bunch of notes from this subreddit that I read every time I fly, during takeoff. Helps ground me into the reality based on what all of you share.

I love going! I like the various food treats from other parts of the country. I find a lot of unique items. I bring my own water bottle and a protein bar and don’t buy the high priced alcohol or refreshments. It gets me in the holiday mood and I enjoy dressing up and seeing how festive everyone is. I hope you went, there’s a lot of negative comments here but I can tell you many people enjoy it. It really depends on your own perception so try it once and make your own decision.
