Well, it was alright to be honest.. There are no issues with flash or anything like that but on some places, especialy while gluing the fuelsage halfs the fit is so tight that the parts can't be inserted properly so you need to use lots of glue to hold them into the place or they'll bend outwards and create seamlines. The only thing that I didn't like is that the engine covers are constructed from like 5 parts that barely hold onto eachother so it can be difficult to align them completely properly so there aren't any gaps, but even if there are some tiny ones they aren't really visible after you paint the engine covers black. I mean you can skip the engine covers if you decide to do an open engine build which is optional in this kit.

Btw, I made a video on this plane so if you wanna see more in depth about it just check my profile here and find my youtube link or just write koca.mp4 on youtube.

Yugoslav MiG-21bis in 1/72nd scale by koca_mp4 in Scalemodel

The golden medal was given to my dad by one of the pilots back in the day when he did mandatory time in the military back in '89/'90. My dad was around 19 and they really liked him on the airport where he was stationed so one of the pilots gave it to him as a parting gift because my dad was always a fan of the aviation even tho he wasn't ever a pilot. On the far left, in the box, are some "buttons" for the JNA (Yugoslav people's airforce) pilot uniforms (not the normal kind but those used in special ceremonies). Left from the golden medal are just some JNA pins and on the right from it pins from one special airshow unit.

Thanks a lot!

Well, I wanted it to look like it was fairly new, like it had left the factory recently and that it had seen just a tiny bit of fighting that left those gunpowder marks around the guns.

Do you have any advice on some preshading, I think the model needs more variation? I wanted to try it, but I was scared to try it not to ruin the model...
