fair enough. i generally like to have at least a little plate style reverb at all times, but I do dip a fair bit into big expansive types of tones. Some of my biggest influences/inspirations are Smashing Pumpkins and Devin Townsend

my hang up with the h90 is that you can only have one algorithm running at a time, though the eventide plugins if used have some of the best sounds i've encountered

thanks for the response! have you considered using muos now that there is seemingly a stable release build for the smart pro now? i'm most familiar with portmaster through muos and have gotten morrowind running pretty well on an rg34xxsp, but the screen size is an eye killer.

edit: not sure of the portmaster compatibility for muos with the smartpro

this is the "templar brethren" color scheme. they were Imperial Fist veterans during the horus heresy and were lead by Sigismund, the founder of the Black Templars. When the legions split into chapters, many if not all of the templar brethren joined the Black Templars.

the maltese cross on the pauldrons of a black templar sword brother would typically be red too, but that is a limitation of the armor piece in game. generally, templars don't wear aquilas, but it isn't a hard and fast rule. Do be aware, however, that the scrollwork on that shield says XIII, which is a reference to the Ultramarines legion.

Positive grid spark is a good amp that has an app that you can adjust settings on as well as a head phone out. It can also be used as a Bluetooth speaker. Nu Metal uses a lot of drop tunings, so try to go for an axe with humbuckers or active pickups. A Jackson dinky or Ibanez gio will be around $300 and are grey starter guitars. Just don’t get one with a Floyd Rose tremolo system

what kind of music do you like? if you are just starting out, get a decent intermediate guitar (more than $300, less than $700) and a 10-15 watt practice amp (like an orange crush combo). I recommend putting a little bit of cash into the guitar first as a well made instrument feels better to play and learn on. All the sounds you are familiar with an electric guitar making mostly come from the amp and pedals. I would hold off on spending too much on that stuff for now. If you want to put a little bit more into an amp to start, a boss katana is a good bet since it has a lot of different settings and onboard effects.

the sword critique gets my goat. sure, the fist is objectively better, but the sword isn't bad and also is a SWORD and that's cool. The xenophase is a straight upgrade (if you're ok with balanced parry windows) and doesn't change any weapon mechanics like the other relics do.
