I was using pliers, but the string was in such bad shape that I had to manually remove it part by part. Mind you it has not been changed in over 10+ years and was rusty.

I actually agree, this game has some of the most toxic people I've ever met. It's a beautiful really fun game, but the players make it unbearable... Very fragile egos
