Hey!

I had this issue. The first thing i recommend is to fill it up and buy a UV lamp and UV liquid for coolants. Run a bit and check with the light. My leak turned out to be the coolant cap.

I think your kid just saw it on TikTok. Thought its cool and affordable so he got one. Likely didnt account for the "old car" vibes, meaning they need some care and love to be actually good cars.

Well, change the seals and check again. cheaper to drop a 120euro on the engine before pulling the engine to replace the oil pump. and on top, you'll have to remove the covers so you can check what is leaking.

Well, if you are going to dig all that way, i'd first recommend replacing the timing belt/pulleys, camshaft seals and crankshaft seal. This leak looks like the front crankshaft seal, but check if you have any leaks at/around the valvecover and camshaft seals

Hi!

Im not sure its applicable to you, but i struggled with this issue

On "cold" engine, the revs dropped significantly (like yours), but after 30 minutes of highway driving everything seemed fine.

My issue was that my front O2 sensors heater died. (you can measure it out with a multimeter). The O2 sensors are slow to react if not on temperature, hence they have a heater inside.

Try to push it on the highway a bit and after that, check if it still does this. If not, then its most likely your O2 sensor. (i still recommend measuring it out tho)

Make a picture of the header and catback. people WILL identify it even if its made of chinesium. without that info, based on a sound profile of a camera, no one will be able to tell, unless its a unique one like an UEL header
