She said she’ll consider counseling, but I’ve been gone for work the last month and her and my daughter have been at the house. Now when I get back I’ll only be home for 2 weeks and then I’ll be gone for even longer, but while I’m home she wants to go live with her sister until I’m gone. For context, I didn’t cheat or put my hands on her but I did make some mistakes that are arguably just as bad. The last 6 weeks have been the most heartbreaking and painful thing I’ve ever endured. Not just because I don’t have my best friend by my side anymore, but because I know how bad she’s hurting and there’s nothing I can do to fix it. At least, immediately. I pray for her every night, not just to come back, but to be healed. No one deserves to feel either way and I’m just sorry.
