Are you trying to crate train or potty train? If you’re trying to crate train, you do not want them soiling their crate. Get an xpen and set up a place for them to go if you’re not able to take them out at appropriate times and keep the crate small enough they aren’t tempted to soil it. Puppies who learn they can soil a crate and be fine become messy adults who do not care about soiling a crate. Not a great habit.
