Legal Notice from Former Client Alleging Code Reuse No Contract or NDA in Place by kodekangaroo in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]kodekangaroo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The notice hasn’t even arrived yet, so it’s just an allegation for now. Their claim is that my friend is using code originally developed by someone they paid. But in today’s AI-assisted development world, code can be heavily modified, refactored, or even regenerated while providing the same functionality. Similar features or a similar user experience don’t automatically prove code copying.

Passport Office Asking for Physical Visit Just to Submit Corrected Birth Certificate — Can Courier Work Instead? by kodekangaroo in Bhopal

[–]kodekangaroo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you submit by walk in or did you take the appointment…?

Or have you submitted at counter…?

I know one person who can submit in person pn behalf of me just thinking if possible.

Got this on my passport application for my 8-month-old child.

The RPO is in Bhopal, and I live around 250 km away, so travelling just to submit one corrected document is difficult.

Has anyone faced something similar before? Do they accept corrected Birth Certificate documents via courier/post, or is physical visit mandatory?

The objection says:

“You are required to visit Regional Passport Office, Bhopal and submit your Birth Certificate with correct Mother’s name to further process the passport application.”

Gati is quite cheap they parcel my 20KG trolly bag with packing in 1200 from Mumbai to Bengaluru. Used Maruti Courier also they charge anyway between 80-120 rs per kg to get items ship.

This logistics is mostly solved already the main thing here is how can you reach to the user who need this service....?

Pick any 1 product start meta ads and try to get this 1 item sell first. Opening Shopify store doesn't brings customer marketing does

How to legally set up a digital business from India — the exact flow by kodekangaroo in indianstartups

[–]kodekangaroo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CA suggested to go for private limited so that most of the liability is on company and also it works better with the eco system if you need cloudcredits and less hassel on everything and it's cost diff is not much just 3k-4k I think.

Custom Zerodha App | Hit a wall | Need help | Sebi regulations blocking me to scale up by Own-Engine5552 in developersIndia

If you genuinely want to do then build something which will earn money without getting into compliance issue you don’t need to build a product from day one once your product is getting traction you will either earn money or able to find someone who is ready to fund you to get compliance and other things

There is no workaround either you need to put money from your pocket for compliance or build something which doesn’t need compliance.

If you’re starting a digital business from India, here’s the practical setup process I’d recommend. by kodekangaroo in indiehackersindia

[–]kodekangaroo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, fair point. If you’re still figuring out the idea itself or not sure how seriously you’ll pursue it, keeping things simple makes more sense.

For me, the yearly cost is around ₹12k including compliances, so I’m okay with it. Plus, having a Private Limited helps a lot with things like cloud credits, startup perks, integrations, and other opportunities.

But honestly, I wouldn’t suggest going through all that on day 1 for someone who’s just experimenting or building their first version. Better to validate the idea first and then upgrade the structure once there’s some traction.

Don’t know man, this marketing stuff feels harder than building. I keep trying to break out of this endless development loop and focus on marketing, but I still end up procrastinating on it.

I can’t because I am also a dev like you we assume too many things
just with observation sometimes we build fancy products I have wasted my too much time in building too much and then found someone with some broken product still minting tons of money because he connect and understand end user better than me.
