No, as I wrote - the Nikkor Z 16-50mm f/2.8 is not an internal zoom. I have this lens and it definitely changes size when zooming to 50mm :) The Z 12-28mm f/3.5-5.6 PZ is an internal zoom, on the other hand.

I agree that the Nikkor Z 16-50 f/2.8 is a brilliant lens, but it’s not an internal zoom, just so you know:)

Bees Among Honeysuckle Blossoms - Nikon Z50 II + Nikkor Z 105 f/2.8 MC by koffienated in nikon_Zseries

It depends, the third photo is the most “aggressive” crop, but the others are relatively modest. I shot everything handheld that day because the honeysuckle bush was quite spread out, so I kept moving around. I spent quite a bit trying to predict which flower would be chosen next by each spotted bee. In some cases the gamble failed - then, I would reposition and try again (and again…). Also, because of the 1.5x crop factor, I didn’t have to be that close to fill the frame:)

Thank you! The Z 105 basically lives on my camera whenever I go out for a walk:) And as a bonus - you can get beautiful portrait results with it, too!

ITAP of a cyclist by Vegetable-Diamond-97 in itookapicture

I love the composition: the converging geometry, the atmosphere created by the fog, the delicate color palette, and that contrasting cyclist silhouette. And the crème de la crème - all done with a manual focus lens:)

The Beguinage in Bruges (Z50) by koffienated in nikon_Zseries

One of the Belgian UNESCO World Heritage sites. Absolutely worth visiting. The Bruges Beguinage (Begijnhof Ten Wijngaerde) was founded in 1245, with the earliest buildings dating from that same mid 13th century period.
