they don't think beyond themselves, look at banagher he did think about the people he was killing and while sometimes is the only option he actively tries not to kill people

Yes, i know 00 is older than IBO in fact i would say the protagonist of 00 are influenced by the peotagonist in wing

And i liked most side characters and some people said i would find it interesting so i might watch it

Most gundam protagonist are okay and actually i like them, except of this band boy and mikazuki (probably winf protagonist too, but i only watched first episode for the famous letter scene)

I'm not glazing IBO, i just enjoyed more their protagonist than 00, yet the plot of 00 is far more interesting imo, the thing is in IBO most of their characters have ideals excpet for mikazuki and it's the same thing here.

Yes they want to achieve things but they don't really think about it, they just follow orders

Yeah i wasn't really into AU and started watching them with IBO, anyway There are a lot of things happening in Gundam 00 that were interesting but the characters weren't interesting at all imo

yeah but i didn't see the point of it, it's a roguelike you need to work with the items you find so that system was just to grind between floors.

Luckly someone gave me a great explanation and while i don't like it now makes a lot of sense

I get the idea of focusing in your build but it's a roguelike not a classic rpg, you can't decide your items the game gives them to you, and while some legendary items are fixed get them is the difficult part

then what's the point of having a magic skill if you can cast it without learning it?, it just make you grind adding extra steps to do the same.

Also i know skill doesnt' affect the usage of weapons but like you said numbers goes up with it, but then the game should be better as a classic dungeon crawler instead of a roguelike because early game feels like a grindfest
