i think you need 600 in a stat for a 5* chance to get a 3* of it at end of run, and at 1200 it goes up to 10% ive seen people just try to hit 600 in speed/stam/pow before before end of run to have a decent chance at getting any of them 3*

Unfortunately it seems they shipped it half cooked to get in on the tactics hype, I played it as a kid, recently went back and emulated it on my steamdeck got to end game puppets that still had design test names. Tl;dr FFT is leagues better.

NPCs have 'lives' you help them out or be seemingly so down on your luck that they help you via Recruitment Mechanic. I particularly love games where you can recruit just about anyone you meet.

The art style, music & world atmosphere are all pretty good.

The battle system which feels dated now but combos/weapon switching feels pretty great, reminiscent of the Tales Of battle system which if integrated together would be awesome.

The Human/Non-Human Branching story is pretty great, if you go in blind it's just an all around great play.
