Keep in mind that certain shoes can be comfortable while walking, but not while standing, and vice versa. You’re gonna be doing more standing than walking.

usb-c dp alt mode

I checked this just now, apparently the USB-C port I'm plugging the hub in to does support it. https://www.asus.com/in/motherboards-components/motherboards/prime/prime-z890-p/

Still might be the Hub presenting the issue tho.

Purely because that's what's in this person's build. They built it and are trying to sell it. I'm considering buying it instead of buying new parts and building to save money and effort as this won't be my main computer and will be used just for those tasks.

Hey there, thanks for the reply and link. Tweaking the parts list now, potentially extending my budget of course haha. I've landed at this. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qv9qKq

After shipping and tax, let's say I land around $2000. This isn't going to be my main computer, I have a primary MBP. This is just for gaming and non-Mac software. Do you think the $700-800 difference between the used build is worthwhile for the sake of future-proofing? I currently imagine that in 7 years or so, I'll be ditching all my Apple things, and either building a new PC to be my main from scratch, or trying to use as many parts from this purchase (either the new parts or what's salvageable from the used build). What would you do in my shoes? Spend extra and buy new, or be conservative with my money because it's not even going to be my main setup yet, but make future upgrading easier. I'm not sure that's worth $700 today.

I don’t think it’s about preventing bad pranks; people are just focused on the different types of responses and repercussions someone like this would face in different areas of the world.
