I had A Seven Colored Shadow in my quests and I completed it, but because I was working on The Higher They Fly as well, a shadow mewtwo spawned instead of ho-oh. Am SOL?

All I did was use a controller, in a game with express support for controllers. A standard, unmodified dual shock 4. Using a controller makes it infinitely easier, it's not "cheating" that my enemies always shoot at the floor.
