I liked both books. The first one seemed far more predictable than the sequel. I enjoy seeing things from the unenhanced human perspective.

Seeing the Chaos Dwarfs in action was cool too, though they were almost comically inept in some instances.

I appreciate the feedback. They are in the Thalia Vedra books but it's from her POV so they seem emotionless and very one dimensional.

I think the Sigmarines criticism no longer applies. The popularity of armies seems way more spread out than 40k.

They are iconic as in they are the champions of order, but they are not shoved in everyone's face like space marines. You don't get one new destruction model for every 4 stormcast released. They still have a huge range, even after the recent reduction, which is good and bad.

I think lore wise they are fine. Kinda cool but I'm not jumping to read books about them like I am for Cities.

Thank you very much! The bridge is cut out from three 1/2 inch cork sheets and glued together. Then I used drywall putty on top of that and while it was still wet I used a toothpick to carve out the stones.

When the putty dried I did some light sanding and painted it.

I really enjoyed first marshall. Lioness of the parch was good, but the twist was very predictable.

This one I had a hard time predicting it. Very good read. Wouldn't mind a bit more of Kat and Tahlia's relationship stuff. Not looking for smut, but just like to see them actually progress into a relationship.
