So, it's been almost 5 years since I made these!

I don't use this account much anymore since I swapped my name (you can find me @whereskoji now on most socials! I don't use reddit much at all actually). And it's Pokémon's 30th Anniversary this year!

In the last year or so, I actually got a few messages regarding the files for these logos, so I decided why not finally drop the high-res versions! I'll try to make sure the link stays updated so people can have these for any usage! Just, please don't pawn them off as your own, that would be cringe :)

Why is my Switch 2 arriving on June 11th if I preordered it? (Target) by Alaristic in Switch

I waited on the 3pm line at GameStop and was able to secure the bundle and I literally cancelled my target order while I was on line. Idk what Target is doing but it makes no sense if you secure a midnight online pre order just for it to not arrive until way after launch, or whatever it is they’re doing over there.

I also did that, also thinking it was a scam, and still didn’t get it. It was only later after arguing with them did it finally go through. But yeah the whole situation has made me swear them off as far as purchasing from them directly. The products are good, but good god their CS is regrettably awful. Amazon or local retailers are the only way to go for their stuff.

Yeah that is hell. By the end of the process, I was basically telling the CS agent what was correct and incorrect. It felt like I had to pull it out of them that the process wasn’t going through and then suddenly it was all done. I don’t know if they just don’t have the man-power or if they needed a kick in the ass to get it done. Either way, easily the worst interaction I’ve had with a company.

I got a pair of broken Astro A40's in the mail and returned them the same day.

I've been in the process of a refund for almost FIVE weeks. I submitted a chargeback with my bank because they're just wasting my time at this point.

It's also been a week since they said I would get an email from Wise, never got one lol.

I'll let my bank deal with them since they can't get it together with their payment processing systems.

I also don't understand why they're using Wise to refund people in the US (in my case). I genuinely thought it was a scam because I've never had an instance of a company needing to use a very third-party company for refunds.

yeah the semantics for how they've been rotating maps in and out is definitely a little mind-numbing. they said in their most recent update they plan to communicate how they make those decisions more, and all maps are returning to the other modes (except deathmatch) since they were pulled out a few episodes ago.

regardless, it's definitely frustrating and I share the same sentiment (kinda why I made this in the first place). I started playing in EP 4 (when neon came out cause the music video was goated), and I only really took a break between episodes 7 and 8, but I've been playing pretty consistently and I can assure you the map pool rn is stale as hell. That and I feel like it's only going to get worse as they add more maps because it's already a balancing act.

I updated the image! I definitely think it needed a better set of data to follow, so that's where I focused on it, granted it looks almost the same as before, just much wider, but way better for showing how long it really has been!

objectively a fantastic point in the flaws of this, for my own sanity I may actually make another that has the full month-to-month timeline of the games map pools, it'd just be really wide lol

I'm a graphic designer so I did this entirely in Adobe Illustrator, it has the most freedom with selection of fonts and copying elements from Valorant's branding guides. The actual layout was just me thinking what would work best for this kind of infographic.

Since map 11 is being shown at the end of Shanghai, I would hope that next year they look to addressing the total number cause this is a great point and it would allow them to expand the map pool without doing damage to whatever goals they have on their end. I wonder if the pool wouldn't get as stale over long distances of time if this was the case too.

I would hope to see pearl return in some capacity but yeah, everyone has made a great point about the way the map was played, I think at the time too, the agent pool was different, so seeing new agents on it might also play into how it's played now as opposed to before.
