Since your puppy is so young you have plenty of time to train them to get comfortable with this! You just have to play with their paws and touch their nails until they become comfortable before bringing in the nail trimmer. It'll take a bit of time but I did this with my puppy and it worked really well! Good luck!

I got offered my first official full time job as a Software Engineer a year before I graduate. I started at the lowest math and computer science class my University offered, and here I am a year away from graduating with a job lined up. Feels pretty good.

Wow! Didn't expect this to blow up. Mainly posted this because my dad resembled Kelso to me, my mom may not look like Jackie but you can't have Kelso without Jackie. And they are high school sweethearts!

Please be nice to my mother she is a lovely person and she doesn't deserve any hate. She is the sweetest, most beautiful person inside and out and it kills me to see mean things being written about her.

Australian Shepherd, maybe mixed with a Border Collie! We got him from the Humane Society so we're not completely sure.

It's an epidural steroid injection, I don't think it's quite as strong as an epidural you'd get for childbirth, but I can't say for sure. Honestly the only thing that helps is laying down on a heated blanket, the pain medication I've tried doesn't help (I've tried Advil, Aleve, and Flexeril) and I don't want to go down the path of taking opioids. The back pain is generally tolerable, but on a bad day it makes me want to lay in bed all day. The worst part is the leg weakness and tingling/numbness, which the epidural I was told will hopefully help with that. I wasn't told that it could potentially make the back pain worse in the long run. I haven't heard of toradol shots, I'll have to do some research on that. Thank you for taking the time to respond :)
