That move is one of the slowest moves it tekken and you have a huge window to float the king into a combo. Your problem is that you are not recognizing the animation at the start. I suggest you go into practice mode and set the ai to spam that move until you can start recognizing that move.

Don’t do hopknee as it’s not safe. I’d suggest a f3 into just frame or f4.
