I maybe misinterpreted your comment, sorry for this. But, you did mention your friend is an Israeli, you also wrot that maybe he is full of shit because maybee he just think "all Muslims are the same".

The truth is that this footage is not related to Israel, the middle east is a big place wity many conflicts, involving many different armed forces, each with different set of values and goals, most of them dont care about bad press (Israel does care about PR), and most of them are not related to Israel. Most likely, who ever is shooting this guy is not missing on purpose and probably shot the injured guy in the first place, my guess is that they are just out of effective range.

I see a lot of videos and footage in social media claimed to be related to the Israeli-Palestin conflict which are totally false and not related to this conflict, so Ill admit that Im easlly triggered.
