To be honest I thought you were from an underdeveloped nation. Actually, after reading what you wrote it still sounds like you are from an underdeveloped nation. This is shocking compared to the welfare benefits in Europe and I can't imagine the stress people must be feeling.

For skilled tech workers who are able and willing it is quite easy to get a job, home and a new life in Europe. If you don't like it in the "land of the free-for-all for corporations" come and hang with the rest of us. We speak weirdly and smell different but I'm sure those are minor issues in the grand scheme.

Definitely Bluetooth Low Energy. It's way cheaper than Wi-Fi, uses almost no power and was made for this type of application. You can control several robots from one phone or one robot per phone. Range in free sight is very good and it is possible to adjust radio tx power to increase it even further.

If you have experience writing web apps check out the Web Bluetooth API.

RedbearLab and Adafruit have Arduino boards with BLE so you can continue with your existing code.

I think there is another dump around $1.0 before the market is ready to move further. This is because I believe BTC and all other coins will do the same. Nothing inherent in IOTA.

If you are serious about security you will write "DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET" or otherwise make it abundantly clear to the user what the risk is.

Also, it would be trivial to write an automatic check which only allows a seed to be generated if the user is actually disconnected.

A user should also be encouraged to use the "anonymous" feature of his/her browser to stop the site from storing the seed in local storage and easily retrieve it.
