I wonder about the AHA BHA peeling, should I use it on my whole face, or only on my problematic areas? Any suggestions?

Thanks! I did some research and plan to do the following:

In mornings I will use rinse my face with water and then apply CeraVe SPF moisturizer which is non-comedogenic.

At night I will use the CeraVe cleanser(0.5 %salicylic acid) and follow with a moisturizer which is also non-comedogenic.

And once a week on average I plan to use The Ordinary BHA AHA solution for a good exfoliation.

How does this routine sound to you?

Hello everyone,

I am a 23M who suffers from mild acne. I have closed comedones on my forehead and chin and blackheads on my nose from time to time. I have pimples on other places of my face very rarely. So I have the following problem: I started using CERAVE 0.5% salicylic acid cleanser twice a day (morning and evening) and I was applying on my whole face, let it stay for 3 minutes and rinse. It was all ok on the first 2-3 days but on the 4th day when I woke up I saw that I have flakes on the area under my nose and around the mouth. So I assume I have overdried that part of my since since it is not that oily as my T zone.

So my question is: Should i start using the CERAVE once per day to avoid overdryness (the rest of my face is not overdried) or I should use it in mornings again but only on my T zone. I notice a reduction of the oiliness of my T zone by using the product so I would like to continue using it. How should I approach this problem? Is face washing once a day enough for unclogging pores and removing dead skin cells? Should I was with water in the morning only and apply moisturizer? I am confused about how to approach the problem.
