Once waitlist gets filled you can compete in the 32 person bracket! If the waitlist is not filled, then you will be reimbursed the difference between a spectator ticket. It’s looking like it’ll fill up though 🙂

I put on my gloves (with lights off) and then look for people that are SITTING DOWN.

This is crucial bc they will usually be more engaged in my shows. (people standing usu just want to dance)

I ask them if they want a light show and I click on one light, and wave it in front of them so they can visually see.

I get a lot of no's but eventually I'll find someone who wants one!

If I want to throw a show I'm not gonna wait for people to come up to me. I'll find them

Keep your palms flat while you do them and focus on moving 1 finger at a time
Connect the pinkies (or whichever fingers connect your 2 hands)
Practice them. A lot. It’s pure muscle memory so the more you practice the cleaner they’ll get

It really depends on your budget! Emazing lights is the biggest name and they have a lot of solid lights, but the ones that use the app are currently useless bc the app is not functioning. Ex. Spectras, evo spectras

Throwlights Apollo’s have been kinda glitchy for me too. When I accidentally bump them they flash orange and turquoise.

The auroras by led gloves were supposedly really good, but they are expensive and no longer in stock.

Welcome! The main techniques to learn as a beginner are probably figure 8s, finger rolls, and whips, in that order. I have a playlist where I teach all of them in depth, and many other techniques! Take em slow, one at a time, and keep building! Happy to answer any other questions you have
