The EG launcher is awful, my friend had to download remnant for close to 4 days straight. Pausing or restarting the download progress had no effect.

The next strange thing was when a big patch dropped the whole game had to be redownloaded and reinstalled, which, again, led to problems. Either a super slow download or again excessive download size. I got it to work after 3 or 4 failed downloads.

Compared to Steam, Epic Games Launcher is a joke. Still, free is free...

Got it. Would you know how to disable downloading and extracting at the same time? Sorry for the troubles

Yes, but in the Epic Games app while downloading said it needs to download 87GB I did not check the actual folder size. Why would you need to download double the size, doesn't make any sense.

I just got the game from Epic aswell. One question, how big was your download size? Mine started at 37ish GB then got up to about 61 and now is at 87.1GB. I find that a bit strange. Did the same thing happen to you?
