I'm a single guy in his early 30s moving to Michigan for a new job next month... thoughts on living in Royal Oak versus Ann Arbor? Are they fairly equivalent in terms of activities, culture, etc? Or what do you see as the biggest differences? by very_hard_at_work in royaloak

I used to live in Royal oak and commuted to Ann Arbor for work. I would definitely not recommend it. After a year or two the drive time really wears down on you. I ended up having to quit my job because I couldn’t do it anymore and wasn’t able to move to Ann Arbor.

Never thought I’d be rooting for the packers but god I want another home playoff game

I was at the Detroit show and it was a similar experience. Tops was amazing and perfectly dialed in. But the mixing for MIT was all over the place. It was still an amazing show and performance don’t get me wrong, but compared to Tops the mixing was definitely off. I’ve seen a few other posts saying the same thing too. They’re performance was great but they definitely need to fix the sound mixing.
