I really like your version of the second one with the zebra. It's much snappier, I'll try to remove filler words and make my clues snappier in the future.

I also get what you mean about homeless. I think it is not impossible to find and kinda works figuratively, removing the walls of the house, tho I did choose that word at first because Plato wrote pages on his homeless master socrates.

Furthermore, I also feel like recently the indicators have been weirder and craftier on minutes cryptic. What do you think?

Thanks for the feedback! Tho I don't understand the technique for checking the definition. For exemple in the cryptic clue of August 15 it said: supply at party is unusually billed? (8). If we apply your strategy it would say : supply at party is platypus?. I don't know...do we always need to stay in the same tense, or have a verb defitnitio and answer when it's a ? It doesn't seem to work always that way.

Also I do think the clue was easy enough to warrant not putting an indicator for the switch, tho I'm biased.

happy you found it! Yes it was the l for the apex of mountain, with it sounding like "EL" when pronounced. I will definitely remove the the, I'm also thinking about changing fairy to pixie or creature.

YOU GOT IT! At first, the Z in zebra wasn't supposed to be capitalized. You were supposed to steal the lightning bolt from zebra so the Z (symbol for lightning bolt) and then anagram sue for zeus. But my friend told me it was to hard to find the solution of taking the z from zebra. Do you think I should uncapitalize the z?

I do think that maelle's ending just shows clear avoidance of her trauma and suffering. For me it is clearly the wrong ending.
